Job Overview:
The Accounts Executive will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, monitor receivables, and follow up on collections.
- Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, ledger entries, and sub-ledgers to verify accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting processes by collecting and analyzing financial data, and preparing forecasts.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately record financial transactions, maintain organized filing systems, and safeguard sensitive financial information.
- Communication: Liaise with vendors, clients, and team members regarding billing, payments, and account discrepancies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and propose improvements or system enhancements.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Additional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a corporate environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP).
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
