Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and communication-savvy Education Counsellor to guide students and working professionals in selecting suitable courses and career programs. The candidate will be responsible for counselling leads, understanding their requirements, explaining course details, and converting enquiries into admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and professionals regarding courses, programs, and career opportunities.
- Handle leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Understand the candidate's educational background, career goals, and requirements.
- Explain course curriculum, fees, duration, benefits, and admission process.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Convert qualified leads into successful admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM/Excel.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with the academic/admission team for documentation and enrolment.
- Build positive relationships with students and provide proper guidance throughout the admission process.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good convincing and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling sales-oriented conversations.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel and CRM tools.
- Freshers are welcome; candidates with counselling, telesales, inside sales, or EdTech experience will be preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
