Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, upkeep, and repair of the resort’s facilities, equipment, and systems. This role is critical in maintaining the resort’s high standards by ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Troubleshoot and fix issues related to lighting, air conditioning, water systems, and equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly
- Maintain records of maintenance work and report major issues to the supervisor
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs when required
- Follow all safety, health, and compliance standards
- Support emergency maintenance needs when necessary

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in maintenance or facility management
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
