Job Summary
The Assistant Professor – Hindi is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, conducting academic activities, and contributing to the overall development of the Department and the Institution. The role involves fostering excellence in Hindi language and literature while supporting the Institution's academic and administrative objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Hindi as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and instructional resources.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, seminars, and classroom sessions using effective teaching methodologies.
- Conduct internal assessments, assignments, examinations, and evaluate student performance.
- Maintain attendance records, academic reports, and other departmental documentation.
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.
Research & Development
- Engage in research and scholarly activities.
- Publish research papers in reputed journals and present papers at seminars, conferences, and workshops.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic enhancement initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental meetings and institutional committees.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, cultural events, and departmental activities.
- Perform examination-related duties, including paper setting, invigilation, evaluation, and result processing.
- Support accreditation and quality assurance initiatives.
- Undertake any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the HOD, Principal, or Management.
Student Development
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
- Encourage participation in literary, cultural, and extracurricular activities.
- Address student academic concerns and provide necessary support.
Qualification
- Master's Degree (M.A.) in Hindi from a recognized university.
Experience
- Prior teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
- Fresh candidates meeting the required qualifications may also apply.

Pay: ₹35,073.83 - ₹40,000.24 per month
