Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Academic Counselor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective students, understanding their career and learning requirements, recommending suitable courses, and guiding them through the admission process.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counseling skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to achieve admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Understand students' educational background, career goals, and learning requirements.
- Provide detailed information about courses, training programs, fees, and career opportunities.
- Counsel students and parents and recommend suitable programs based on their requirements.
- Follow up with leads regularly and convert qualified prospects into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admission status in the CRM/system.
- Meet individual and team admission/conversion targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and training teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding process.
- Handle student queries and provide timely assistance throughout the admission process.
- Maintain professional communication and build strong relationships with prospective and enrolled students.
- Prepare regular reports on lead status, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in academic counseling, education sales, telecalling, inside sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to handle multiple leads and follow-ups effectively.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.
- Candidates with experience in the education/training industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
