Job Summary
The Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development. The teacher serves as the primary point of contact for students and parents, ensuring effective communication and fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and lifelong learning.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources.
Classroom Management
- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Monitor student attendance, punctuality, and behavior.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
Student Development
- Foster students' academic, emotional, social, and moral development.
- Identify students requiring additional academic or emotional support and coordinate appropriate interventions.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and independent learning.
- Promote values, character education, and responsible citizenship.
Parent Communication
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide timely updates.
- Address parent concerns professionally and collaboratively.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, assessment data, and reports.
- Prepare report cards and progress reports within timelines.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
- Support school events, assemblies, excursions, and extracurricular activities.
- Perform homeroom duties assigned by the school administration.
Collaboration
- Work closely with subject teachers, counselors, coordinators, and school leadership.
- Participate in curriculum planning and school improvement initiatives.
- Share best teaching practices with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or the relevant subject (B.Ed. mandatory where applicable).
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Teaching certification as required by the applicable curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/Cambridge/IB).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience (preferred).

Pay: Up to ₹27,000.00 per month
