Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in English from a recognized university (Mandatory).
- Ph.D. in English / NET qualification will be preferred as per UGC norms.
- Strong academic background with a consistent record of excellence.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching, research, or relevant professional experience.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals/conferences will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must meet UGC norms as applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English Language and Literature.
- Deliver lectures in areas such as English Literature, Linguistics, Communication Skills, Business Communication, and allied subjects.
- Develop and update course content in line with academic advancements and industry requirements.
- Guide students in research work, dissertations, projects, and presentations.
- Mentor students for academic, professional, and personal development.
- Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, literary events, and academic activities.
- Contribute to departmental and university-level committees and initiatives.
- Promote interdisciplinary learning and innovative teaching methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of English Literature, Linguistics, Communication Studies, and Language Teaching.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
- Ability to conduct research and contribute to academic publications.
- Experience in organizing literary events, debates, workshops, or outreach programs will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to interdisciplinary activities and research.
Pay Scale
₹30,000 – ₹70,000 per month
(Commensurate with qualifications and experience)
