Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules and a proven track record of implementing and managing ITOM solutions. Excellent communication skills are mandatory, as the role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Manage and optimize ITOM modules including:
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- Event Management
- CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications and infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance within CMDB.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to enhance operational efficiency.
- Create technical documentation, workflows, and process improvements.
- Participate in ITSM and ITOM process enhancements and best practices.
Required SkillsMust-Have
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM.
- Expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure, Networks, Servers, and Cloud Environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations and automation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Glide APIs, REST/SOAP APIs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow ITOM.
- ServiceNow certifications will be an added advantage.
