A platform that crashes is a platform users won't trust. As a Testing Intern at MigrantMinds you are the final line of defense before we release new features. Your job is to try and "break" the platform so our users don't have to. You will perform continuous testing to ensure every button, form, and feature works perfectly.
What You Will Test
- Manual Testing: Click through the MigrantMinds platform daily to ensure features (Login, Profile Update, Search) are working as expected.
- Cross-Browser Testing: Check if our website and extension work perfectly on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Mobile devices.
- Bug Reporting: Document bugs clearly (steps to reproduce, screenshots) so our developers can fix them easily.
- Test Cases: Create a checklist of "things to test" whenever we launch a new update.
Who You Are
- Sherlock Holmes: You love investigating why something isn't working.
- Communicator: You can explain a technical problem clearly in writing.
- Tech-Savvy: You understand the basics of how websites work (what a browser console is, what a "404 error" means).
Requirements
- Detail-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with basic web technologies.
- (Bonus) Knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium or Cypress, though not required.
