Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials (wood, fabric, foam, hardware) and finished goods.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Implement FIFO/LIFO methods for material usage.
- Material Handling
- Supervise unloading, storage, and issue of raw materials to production.
- Ensure proper labeling, binning, and stacking for easy retrieval.
- Dispatch & Logistics
- Coordinate with transporters for timely delivery of finished sofas.
- Prepare delivery challans, invoices, and ensure proper documentation.
- Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers for material receipts and quality checks.
- Track pending orders and follow up for timely supply.
- ERP/Software Management
- Update stock movements in ERP/Tally/SAP systems.
- Generate MIS reports for management on stock levels and consumption.
- Team Supervision
- Lead store assistants and helpers.
- Train staff on safe handling of materials and warehouse practices.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety standards in storage and handling.
- Maintain fire safety, housekeeping, and pest control measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Commerce.
- 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing industry or sofa manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, ERP systems, and logistics coordination.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Salary
20 40 K gross P.M
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
