KARANGAL Institution is hiring a Maths Faculty for Competitive Exam Coaching.
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Mathematics Faculty to train and mentor students preparing for the National Defence Academy (NDA) examination. The ideal candidate should possess strong conceptual clarity, the ability to simplify complex topics, and a passion for guiding defence aspirants toward success. The role requires dynamic teaching methods, exam-oriented strategies, and continuous student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive and structured classroom sessions covering the NDA Mathematics syllabus.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to varying student learning levels.
- Simplify complex mathematical concepts for better understanding and retention.
- Prepare high-quality study materials, assignments, worksheets, and mock tests.
- Conduct regular assessments, analyze student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Train students in time management and problem-solving techniques specific to NDA exams.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and provide one-on-one mentoring when required.
- Stay updated with the latest NDA exam patterns, trends, and syllabus changes.
- Integrate real-life applications and logical reasoning techniques to enhance learning.
- Motivate and guide students to build confidence and discipline required for defence exams.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for holistic student development (SSB orientation, general awareness, etc.).
- Maintain records of student progress and report to management periodically.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong command over core mathematical topics (Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Geometry, Statistics).
- Minimum 6 months of teaching experience in the relevant subject.
- Prior teaching experience for NDA/CDS or other competitive exams is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on student needs and classroom dynamics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Capability to handle both beginner and advanced learners effectively.
- Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Familiarity with exam-oriented teaching and shortcut techniques.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring defence aspirants.
- Fluency in Tamil and English.
- Age: 21-32 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in reputed NDA/CDS coaching institutes.
- Experience in mentoring students for SSB or defence-related training.
- Exposure to digital teaching platforms (online classes, smart boards, LMS tools).
- Ability to create innovative teaching content (videos, quizzes, interactive modules).
- Candidates with a background in defence services or NCC will have an added advantage.
- Proven track record of producing successful NDA candidates.

Work Schedule:
