Job Summary
Jamna Auto Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced and result-oriented E-Coat Head to lead and manage the Electro-Coating (E-Coat) process in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of E-Coat operations, chemical process control, quality systems, and team management to ensure consistent coating quality and production efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesE-Coat Process Management
- Lead and oversee day-to-day E-Coat plant operations.
- Monitor and control E-Coat process parameters to achieve required coating quality standards.
- Ensure optimum utilization of chemicals, equipment, and manpower.
- Maintain bath chemistry and process stability through regular testing and analysis.
Quality & Process Control
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and other quality parameters.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process capability and productivity.
Chemical Management
- Monitor chemical consumption and maintain required inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers for chemical analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals as per statutory requirements.
Maintenance & Equipment Management
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities related to the E-Coat plant.
- Ensure proper functioning of tanks, pumps, rectifiers, filtration systems, conveyors, and associated equipment.
- Minimize downtime through effective maintenance planning.
Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with EHS, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Promote safe work practices and conduct safety awareness programs for employees.
- Monitor waste management and pollution control measures related to the E-Coat process.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and develop operators and technicians.
- Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Foster a culture of discipline, quality, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Electro-Coating (E-Coat) processes.
- Sound understanding of chemistry related to surface treatment and coating systems.
- Knowledge of quality tools, problem-solving techniques, and process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze process data and implement corrective actions.
