Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Vadodara. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, managing accounts receivable and payable, and supporting cash flow tracking. The role also involves assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and basic management reports. The Accountant will coordinate with internal teams and external auditors, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and help maintain accurate documentation for all financial activities. The position reports to the finance or accounts manager and may support process improvements in the accounting function.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including knowledge of bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar) and good skills in MS Excel and other basic office tools.
- Understanding of tax regulations, GST, and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured manner.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations, procurement, and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an accountant in manufacturing, pharma, or related industries is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site in Vadodara and maintain high ethical standards in handling financial information.
Pay: ₹21,323.00 - ₹41,884.40 per month
