1. Recruitment and Staffing
- Develop and oversee recruitment strategies for teaching, administrative, and support staff.
- Coordinate job postings, application screening, interviews, and onboarding across schools.
- Ensure staffing levels are aligned with academic and operational needs of each campus.
2. Employee Records and Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, attendance, qualifications, and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, educational regulations, and school policies.
- Manage employee background checks, certifications, and documentation.
3. Performance Management
- Design and implement appraisal systems tailored for academic and non-academic staff.
- Coordinate regular performance reviews and ensure constructive feedback is given.
- Identify and address underperformance or disciplinary issues in a structured manner.
4. Training and Development
- Assess training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and orientation programs across campuses.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and capacity building.
5. Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Oversee salary structure, payroll processing, and leave management.
- Administer employee benefits (e.g. health insurance, pensions, allowances).
- Handle salary revisions, incentives, and statutory deductions in coordination with the finance team.
6. Policy Development and Implementation
- Develop HR policies tailored for the education sector and aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure consistent implementation of policies across all school branches.
- Update policies as needed in response to regulatory or organizational changes.
7. Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for resolving employee grievances and conflicts.
- Promote healthy workplace culture through staff engagement and communication.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.
8. Organizational Planning and Support
- Assist in strategic planning, workforce planning, and organizational restructuring.
- Provide HR reports and insights to top management for decision-making.
- Collaborate with school heads and departmental heads to align HR practices with academic goals.
9. Legal and Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with education board norms (CBSE, ICSE, IB, etc.) and labor regulations.
- Handle disciplinary procedures, legal matters, and employment law issues.
- Maintain awareness of changes in HR and education law.
10. HR Technology and Systems
- Implement and manage HR software systems for attendance, payroll, and HR records.
- Use data analytics to inform HR strategies and monitor trends in recruitment, retention, and performance.
