Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and career-oriented Career Advancement Officer to join our Chandigarh office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counselling job seekers, understanding their career aspirations, recommending suitable Career Advancement Program (CAP) services, and converting enquiries into satisfied customers.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for helping candidates build successful careers.
Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Consultation
- Conduct one-on-one career consultations with candidates visiting the office or through scheduled virtual meetings.
- Understand candidates' career goals, job search challenges, and professional background.
- Evaluate resumes, LinkedIn profiles, interview readiness, and overall employability.
- Provide expert guidance on career improvement strategies.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Recommend suitable CAP services based on individual candidate requirements.
- Convert enquiries into paid customers through consultative selling.
- Achieve monthly revenue and conversion targets.
- Promote value-added career services to maximize customer success.
Lead Management
- Manage leads generated through CRM, website enquiries, social media, walk-ins, and referral channels.
- Ensure timely follow-ups through calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in the CRM system.
CAP Service Coordination
- Coordinate with internal delivery teams to ensure timely completion of services.
- Monitor service quality and candidate satisfaction.
- Handle candidate queries until successful completion of services.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with candidates.
- Encourage referrals, testimonials, and repeat business.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the candidate journey.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in counselling, recruitment, inside sales, education consulting, tele-sales, or career consulting.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Comfortable using CRM software and digital communication tools.
Preferred Skills
- Consultative selling techniques.
- Career counselling aptitude.
- Basic understanding of recruitment processes.
- Knowledge of resume writing and LinkedIn optimization.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Customer relationship management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly revenue achievement.

Compensation
- Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Based on experience and interview performance)
