Business Development Executive
What does this team do?
Responsible for driving enrolments into Marrow, our flagship learning platform for doctors, through field sales efforts. The role involves directly engaging with medical professionals to promote career-advancing programs and specialized upskilling courses that build critical skills required for success in super-specialty fields. It includes creating on-ground awareness about Marrow’s offerings, particularly in areas not adequately covered in traditional medical education. The primary focus is on doctors who have completed MBBS and are preparing for NEET PG, guiding them toward the right resources to strengthen their preparation and excel in their chosen specialisation.
What would you be doing here?
- Walk-in visits: Visit medical colleges within your assigned territory and interact with students.
- Events & activations: Plan, manage, and execute college events, fests, and on-ground activations end-to-end.
- Marketing & awareness: Distribute marketing materials and create strong brand visibility for Marrow.
- Lead generation: Capture and build a high-quality database of prospective users.
- Lead management: Follow up consistently and nurture leads through the funnel.
- Lead conversion: Pitch subscription plans, close deals, and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with your manager and cross-functional teams to drive campaigns and hit business goals
What are we looking for?
- 1–3 years of experience in sales (field sales preferred)
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA is a plus)
- Experience in managing events, conferences, or on-ground activations
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and large student groups
- (Preferred) Multilingual / comfortable in diverse environments
- Willingness to travel extensively and meet new people regularly
- Highly driven, confident, competitive, and a strong team player
