Role description
Key Responsibilities
- Act as L3 escalation point for complex production incidents related to Java microservices, Python services, and AI systems
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical system failures and recurring production issues
- Debug and resolve issues across distributed microservices, APIs, messaging systems, and databases
- Support and maintain Agentic AI workflows, including LLM-based agents, orchestration layers, and AI integrations
- Analyze application logs, metrics, and traces to proactively identify and mitigate performance and reliability issues
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to improve monitoring, ing, resiliency, and incident response
- Implement and deploy hotfixes, configuration changes, and performance improvements in production environments
- Work closely with development teams to drive problem remediation, permanent fixes, and production-readiness standards
- Document known issues, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guidelines
- Participate in on-call rotations and support business-critical systems with strict SLAs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in supporting and maintaining enterprise-scale applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, especially Spring Boot-based microservices
- Good proficiency in Python for troubleshooting services, automation, and operational tooling
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, REST APIs, and asynchronous messaging
- Experience supporting Agentic AI or LLM-based systems, including:
- Agent orchestration and execution flows
- Tool invocation, memory, and agent state handling
- Troubleshooting AI model integrations and inference-related issues
- Strong experience with production debugging, log analysis, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and data consistency issues
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (APM, logging, tracing)
- Strong communication skills for incident management and stakeholder coordination
