We are looking for a full-time Marketplace Manager (Zalando) to manage and scale our marketplace activities on both a national and international level.
Your Mission
- Strategy & Growth: You will manage and continuously develop our marketplace strategy nationally and internationally.
- Operations & Logistics: Together with our logistics team, you will ensure product availability and take responsibility for compliance with relevant performance standards in the respective countries.
- Optimization: You will be responsible for the best possible presentation and placement of our product listings.
- Data Management: You will communicate marketplace-specific product data requirements to the website team and actively work on improving our product data feeds.
- Monitoring: Aligned with our online shop, you will ensure regular monitoring of our top sellers across all channels.
- Successfully grown—entirely without investors. We make our own decisions, react quickly, and give you the freedom to turn your ideas into reality directly, without bureaucratic hurdles.
Your Profile
- Experience: Proven track record in marketplace management, ideally on Zalando.
- Platform Expertise: Very good understanding of the Zalando Partner Program (ZPP) and its core processes (Content, Pricing, Promotions, Logistics).
- Analytical Mindset: Confident handling of Zalando-specific KPIs (e.g., Sell-through Rate, Return Rate, Conversion Rate, GMV, Contribution Margin).
- Collaboration: You will act as the central interface between internal departments (Purchasing, Logistics, Controlling, Marketing) as well as external marketplace partners, ensuring smooth collaboration.
What You Bring to the Table
- Strong analytical skills and excellent Excel skills for processing and structuring large amounts of data.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a very high level of English proficiency.
- The ability to maintain an overview even in complex situations, supported by a structured way of working.
- A high degree of solution orientation, motivation, and team spirit.
- Experience in performance marketing and sales.
- Experience as a Zalando Seller.
- Knowledge of using marketplace integrators (e.g., Tradebyte) is an advantage.
