About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Assistant Manager – Finance with 8–12 years of experience in finance, accounting, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, statutory compliances, MIS reporting, balance sheet finalization, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records while supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Draft and finalize Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts, Cash Flow Statements, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and investment analysis
MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for senior management.
- Develop financial dashboards, KPIs, and analytical reports.
- Conduct variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost reporting.
- Support business planning through financial analysis and forecasting.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and assessments.
- Ensure timely deduction, payment, reconciliation, and filing of TDS returns.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Monitor compliance with Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
Finance & Accounting Operations
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities and general ledger management.
- Review journal entries, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and accounting policies.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Lead statutory, internal, tax, and financial audits.
- Prepare audit schedules and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Monitor departmental budgets and control costs.
- Support management with financial planning and strategic decision-making.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Financial Accounting and Reporting.
- Hands-on experience in Balance Sheet Finalization.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Excellent experience in MIS Reporting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar ERP platforms.
- Good understanding of IPO processes, capital markets, corporate finance, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Manufacturing, Packaging, FMCG, Industrial, or Engineering sectors.
- Experience handling multi-location finance operations is preferred.

Pay: ₹650,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
