Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) projects. The candidate will be responsible for project execution, site coordination, installation supervision, commissioning support, and ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor STP, WTP, and ETP projects from initiation to commissioning.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
- Prepare project schedules and track progress against timelines.
- Supervise site activities including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Review technical drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of project materials and equipment.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Support testing, commissioning, and performance trials of treatment plants.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues to avoid project delays.
- Attend client meetings and provide project status updates.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in STP, WTP, and/or ETP project execution.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with pumps, blowers, filters, dosing systems, piping, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project documents.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in project planning and execution.
- Knowledge of commissioning and troubleshooting treatment plants.
- Understanding of HSE and quality management practices.
- Experience in client handling and contractor management.
