Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and passionate Wedding Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will edit cinematic wedding films, emotional highlights, and engaging social media content that reflect the beauty, traditions, and emotions of weddings planned by Maritus.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit wedding highlight films, full-length videos, teasers, and reels
- Create short-form videos for Instagram, Pinterest, and other platforms
- Craft emotional storytelling using music, pacing, and seamless transitions
- Perform color correction and color grading to maintain a premium brand look
- Sync audio, vows, speeches, and background scores effectively
- Add titles, transitions, and basic motion graphics when required
- Maintain consistency with the Maritus Wedding Planners brand aesthetic
- Coordinate with planners, photographers, and the marketing team
- Handle multiple projects while meeting strict wedding delivery timelines
- Organize, manage, and archive raw footage and final outputs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (wedding/event experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
- Basic knowledge of After Effects is an added advantage
- Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and emotional flow
- Understanding of social media video formats and trends
- Ability to handle large video files and different camera formats
- Good communication skills and openness to feedback
