Key ResponsibilitiesA. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new customers in the electrical, industrial, commercial, and government sectors.
- Generate inquiries for distribution transformers, power transformers, and special-purpose transformers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular market visits to contractors, EPC companies, OEMs, DISCOMs, and consultants.
- Promote company products and highlight technical advantages to customers.
B. Client Interaction & Follow‑up
- Prepare and submit quotations, technical documents, and proposals.
- Follow up on inquiries, offers, and tenders to convert them into sales orders.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients for repeat business.
- Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales support.
C. Tendering & Documentation
- Understand tender requirements for government, semi‑government, and corporate clients.
- Coordinate with the tendering team for documentation and bid submission.
- Review technical specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
D. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Coordinate with the design, production, and commercial teams for product costing, delivery schedules, and technical clarifications.
- Share customer feedback and market trends with management.
E. Market Research
- Track competitor pricing, product features, and market strategies.
- Identify new segments, potential customers, and emerging business opportunities.
3. Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong knowledge of transformers and basic understanding of electrical engineering.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read technical specifications, SLDs, and tender documents.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM tools).
4. Educational Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Graduates with strong sales experience in electrical products may also apply.
5. Experience
- 2 to 5 years of sales experience in transformers, switchgear, electrical equipment, or related industry.
- Freshers with technical background and strong interest in sales may be considered.
6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sales revenue achieved
- Number of new customers added
- Inquiry-to-order conversion ratio
- Timely submission of tenders
- Customer satisfaction and repeat orders
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
