Job Summary
The Insurance Executive is responsible for handling insurance-related activities in the hospital, including patient insurance verification, approval processing, claim documentation, coordination with TPAs, and maintaining insurance records. The role ensures smooth communication between patients, insurance companies, and hospital departments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process cashless and reimbursement insurance cases.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and TPAs for approvals.
- Verify insurance eligibility and policy details of patients.
- Prepare and submit pre-authorization documents.
- Maintain proper insurance files and patient records.
- Follow up on pending approvals and claim settlements.
- Coordinate with billing, nursing, and medical departments.
- Assist patients regarding insurance procedures and required documents.
- Ensure proper submission of claim documents within timelines.
- Handle discharge clearance related to insurance patients.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and insurance information.
- Prepare daily and monthly insurance reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital insurance procedures.
