The Cutting Master is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing fabric cutting activities to ensure accurate cutting, optimum fabric utilization, and timely supply of cut panels to production.

Supervise fabric spreading and cutting activities.

Ensure cutting is carried out as per approved markers and specifications.

Monitor fabric consumption and minimize wastage.

Verify fabric shade grouping and lot segregation before cutting.

Coordinate with Planning, Production, and Quality teams.

Ensure cut panels are bundled and issued correctly to sewing lines.

Monitor cutting department productivity and efficiency.

Maintain cutting records and daily production reports.

Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Support timely achievement of production targets.

Knowledge of fabric spreading, marker planning, and garment cutting.

Understanding of fabric consumption and wastage control.

Knowledge of woven fabric characteristics.
