About the Role
Ssquad Global is looking for a motivated System Administrator / IT Engineer to provide L1/L2 IT support, manage end-user computing (EUC) environments, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in desktop support, Active Directory administration, troubleshooting, and end-user support within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 desktop and EUC support for Windows-based enterprise environments.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and enterprise applications.
- Manage Active Directory tasks, including:
- User account creation
- Password resets
- Account unlocks
- Access permissions
- Perform OS imaging, laptop deployment, and endpoint configuration.
- Support remote users with VPN connectivity and secure access troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and business applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on end-user devices and peripherals.
- Assist with basic network connectivity, firewall support, and endpoint security configurations.
- Monitor system performance and perform preventive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for issue escalation and resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update support tickets.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory user administration.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN.
- Experience with endpoint deployment and imaging tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / BCA / B.Sc (IT) / BE / B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or related certifications are preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the ITIL framework is an added advantage.
