1. Role Overview
The Facility Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the site, ensuring that all facility services are delivered safely, efficiently, compliantly, and in line with client expectations and contractual commitments.
The role acts as the single point of contact on site for the client and coordinates internal teams and external service providers to guarantee service continuity, quality, and cost control.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Operational Management
· Manage daily facility operations on site (hard and soft services depending on scope)
· Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to ensure service delivery as planned
· Monitor service quality and perform regular site inspections
· Ensure timely resolution of incidents, complaints, and service deviations
2.2 Client Relationship
· Act as the primary on-site interface for the client
· Attend and prepare client meetings, operational reviews, and site walk-throughs
· Anticipate client needs and proactively propose improvements or corrective actions
· Ensure transparent communication on performance, issues, and solutions
2.3 Health, Safety & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company policies, and local legislation
· Assist in risk assessments, method statements and safety procedures
· Report, incidents or near-misses
· Ensure staff and contractors adhere to H&S requirements on site
· Hold a valid CPR/First Aid certification
· Ensure that fire safety systems (sprinkler systems, ADS, fire detection and alarm systems) are maintained and up to date
2.4 Financial & Administrative Management
· Monitor site costs and stay within approved budgets
· Validate timesheets, service reports and operational documentation
· Support invoice validation and cost tracking linked to site activities
· Contribute to budget planning and cost optimization initiatives
2.5 Team Management
· Supervise on-site teams
· Ensure proper staffing levels and day-to-day planning
· Support onboarding and training of site staff
· Foster a positive, professional and performance-driven working environment
· Support recruitment activities for site‑based roles in coordination with local HR. Actively participate in candidate interviews and support hiring decisions.
3. Back-up responsibilities
· Take over daily operational coordination, including handling service requests, incidents, and urgent site needs.
· Directly coordinate and follow up with on‑site service providers.
· Ensure office readiness and functionality (meeting rooms, workspaces, access badges, minor issues).
· Manage operational reporting, documentation, and ticket follow‑up to ensure service continuity.
· Act as the main operational contact for site stakeholders, escalating issues when required.
4. Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
· Previous experience in Facility Management, Site Management
· Strong understanding of FM services (soft and/or hard services depending on scope)
· Experience working with KPIs, SLAs and budgets
· IT literacy (MS Office, FM systems, reporting tools)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Client-oriented and service-driven mindset
· Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
· Leadership and team coordination abilities
· Sense of ownership and accountability

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,050,000.00 per year
