Work Experience
Experience: 4 - 6+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2 and above) environments.
- Perform installation, configuration, patching, cloning, and maintenance of Oracle EBS systems.
- Manage and administer Oracle Database 19c and later versions.
- Execute database and EBS upgrades independently with minimal supervision.
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle APEX environments.
- Configure and maintain high availability solutions including:
- Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)
- Oracle Data Guard
- Manage and monitor Oracle Audit Vault deployments.
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Work on backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and network teams for seamless integrations.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in:
- Oracle Database 19c and later
- Oracle EBS 12.2 and above
- Mandatory knowledge of:
- Oracle RAC
- Oracle Data Guard
- Oracle Audit Vault
- Experience working with:
- AIX and Linux operating systems
- Hands-on experience with:
- Oracle APEX (basic to intermediate level)
Additional Technical Knowledge
- Basic understanding of:
- Networking concepts (DNS, ports, load balancers)
- Firewalls and security configurations
- Integration-related troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle certifications (DBA / EBS) are a plus
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Exposure to automation and scripting (Shell, Python) is desirable
