The Abacus Teacher is responsible for developing students' mental arithmetic skills through structured Abacus training. The role focuses on enhancing children's concentration, memory, visualization, logical thinking, and calculation speed using interactive and engaging teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Abacus lessons according to the school's curriculum.
- Teach Abacus techniques and mental arithmetic to students in an engaging manner.
- Improve students' speed, accuracy, concentration, memory, and analytical thinking.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and practice exercises.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain student performance records.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding progress.
- Create a positive, disciplined, and motivating classroom environment.
- Organize Abacus competitions, demonstrations, exhibitions, and parent orientation sessions.
- Coordinate with class teachers and academic coordinators regarding student development.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of Abacus teaching materials and classroom resources.
- Participate in school meetings, training programs, workshops, and school events.
- Maintain attendance records and submit progress reports on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Mathematics preferred).
- Certification in Abacus Teaching from a recognized training institute.
- Additional certification in Mental Arithmetic or Vedic Mathematics will be an advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience teaching Abacus or Mental Arithmetic.
- Freshers with recognized Abacus certification and excellent teaching skills may also apply.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
