Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Surgery Preparation: Clean, sterilize, and arrange surgical instruments, trays, and equipment according to hospital protocols. Check machines like suction units and oxygen tanks.
- Intra-Operative Support: Assist the surgical team by handing instruments, managing supplies, helping with patient positioning, and responding during emergencies.
- Patient Transport: Safely move patients to and from the operating room and the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Post-Surgery Cleanup: Disinfect the operating room, safely dispose of biomedical waste, and restock medical supplies for the next procedure.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of consumables and report equipment malfunctions to the OT In-Charge.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: A high school diploma followed by a certification, diploma, or vocational training in Operation Theatre technology or assisting.
- Core Skills: Strong knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours and assist in lifting or moving patients.
- Communication: Clear coordination with doctors, nurses, and housekeeping staff.
Pay: ₹10,671.49 - ₹30,670.29 per month
