TestComp is on the lookout for an exceptional Embedded Software Engineer to help us design, create and ramp up state-of-the-art software systems for our tech-based solutions. As an Embedded Software Engineer at TestComp, you will be a key contributor in a team responsible for delivering high quality, robust software systems.
- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.

Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources by troubleshooting and resolving software defects.

Perform software validation and testing to ensure systems perform as designed while ensuring software quality.

Support the development of programmable logic controller (PLC) software.

Integrate and validate new product designs, and interface with hardware design and development teams.

Review code and design documents, and assist in providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

At least 3 years of working experience in embedded systems.

Proficiency in C/C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification.

Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.

Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.

Knowledge of OS coding techniques, network protocols, and device drivers.

Excellent knowledge of hardware and software testing methodologies and tools.

Strong problem solving and debugging skills, with a keen eye for detail.
