Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions align with the overall objectives of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP FI with deep specialization in Asset Accounting (AA).
- Lead, guide, and coordinate the team to ensure high-quality delivery and performance.
- Take ownership of key functional decisions within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-module teams, contributing to critical project and design decisions.
- Provide expert-level solutions to complex issues within your functional area and for adjacent teams.
- Mentor and upskill junior consultants through knowledge sharing and best-practice guidance.
- Continuously assess and enhance functional processes, configurations, and integration points to improve efficiency and business value.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA, specifically deep expertise in Asset Accounting (FI-AA).
- Solid understanding of end-to-end SAP implementation methodologies and the functional development lifecycle.
- Ability to design and optimize scalable SAP FI-AA solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software architectures.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 9 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
