We are seeking a highly experienced Hyperledger Fabric Architect to design, implement, and govern the blockchain layer of EnsureInsured.
This role is responsible for defining blockchain architecture, governance models, chaincode strategies, security frameworks, data structures, and network scalability.
You will serve as the principal authority on all Hyperledger-related technical decisions.

A Blocks Nexus is building EnsureInsured, a blockchain-powered insurance verification and enforcement ecosystem designed to modernize insurance compliance, fraud prevention, policy verification, and regulatory enforcement through secure digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Blockchain Architecture
- Design Hyperledger Fabric network topology.
- Define channels and consortium structures.
- Establish endorsement policies.
- Define blockchain governance standards.
Chaincode Architecture
- Design chaincode patterns and standards.
- Define transaction flows.
- Ensure maintainability and scalability.
Security & Governance
- Establish identity management frameworks.
- Define certificate management processes.
- Implement blockchain security controls.
- Ensure auditability and regulatory compliance.
Performance & Scalability
- Design for national-scale transaction volumes.
- Optimize ledger performance.
- Establish monitoring and operational procedures.
Technical Leadership
- Mentor blockchain developers.
- Review architecture decisions.
- Participate in platform-wide technical planning.
AI-First Engineering
- Leverage "AI powered" development tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Devin, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, and similar technologies, to accelerate development, improve code quality, automate testing, and enhance engineering productivity.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12 months:
- Deliver production-grade Hyperledger architecture.
- Establish a blockchain governance framework.
- Successfully support insurer integrations.
- Ensure platform scalability and security.
- Enable successful pilot deployments and future national-scale expansion.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of Software Engineering
- Required Hyperledger Experience 3+ Years Hyperledger Fabric
- Preferred 10+ Years Enterprise Software Architecture
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Hyperledger Fabric solutions.
- Deep expertise in Hyperledger Fabric architecture, deployment, and operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with chaincode development using Go and/or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of Fabric components, including peers, orderers, channels, MSPs, Certificate Authorities, and endorsement policies.
- Experience designing distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
- Experience defining blockchain governance, security, and operational models.
- Strong understanding of blockchain data modeling, transaction design, and ledger structures.
- Experience integrating blockchain platforms with enterprise applications and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of authentication, PKI, digital certificates, and identity management.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
- Strong technical leadership, architecture, and stakeholder management skills.
