Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, assignments, question papers, and assessments.
- Conduct laboratory practicals, demonstrations, and field-based learning activities where applicable.
- Maintain laboratory records, equipment, and safety standards.
- Assess students through tests, practical examinations, projects, and board-preparation activities.
- Provide remedial support, mentoring, and enrichment programs for students.
- Integrate technology and innovative pedagogical practices into classroom teaching.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school functions, academic committees, and professional development programs.
- Support students preparing for board examinations and relevant competitive examinations (e.g., NEET foundation/awareness activities as per school policy).
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Biology / Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET (if applicable as per school norms).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology and practical/laboratory skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management abilities.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools, smart boards, LMS platforms, and online assessment systems.
- Student mentoring and academic counseling skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Preferred Experience (Optional)
- Experience teaching CBSE Classes XI–XII Biology.
- Experience handling Biology practicals and board examination documentation.
- Familiarity with NEP-aligned pedagogical practices and competency-based assessment.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
