- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
- Material Preparation
Measure, cut, and shape metal using plasma cutters, oxy-fuel torches, grinders, and saws.Align, tack, and fit components using jigs, fixtures, clamps, and measuring tools.Perform MIG (GMAW), with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like dye penetrant or magnetic particle testing.Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet dimensional and cosmetic standards.Operate cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment safely; maintain welding tools and machines
