About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchase Head to lead procurement operations for our facade projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing aluminium, glass, hardware, and related facade materials while driving cost optimization, vendor development, and procurement process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end procurement function for facade projects.
- Manage procurement of aluminium, glass, hardware, scaffolding, powder coating, and other project materials.
- Handle Material Take-Offs (MTOs), Work Orders (WOs), Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and payment follow-ups.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely material availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and identify new suppliers.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and commercial agreements to achieve cost savings.
- Prepare and maintain rate contracts and standardized pricing for recurring materials and services.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, planning, finance, and site teams for procurement planning and execution.
- Monitor procurement budgets, control costs, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Analyze procurement data and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Manage suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and testing agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10–15 years of procurement experience, with significant exposure to the facade industry.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, glass, facade accessories, and construction procurement.
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
