The Associate, Business Development, will report to the Assistant Vice-President, Business Development.
The candidate should embody the following attributes: manifest integrity; a fiery intellect; on-the-ground
execution capability; an aesthetic sensibility; and a long-term orientation. All this must come wrapped in
abundant common sense!
It is expected that the candidate will have an understanding of the Indian asset management industry.
Importantly, it is critical that the candidate have a long-term orientation towards building sustainable
business. Specific responsibilities will be to:
Business Acumen: Identify potential investors and distribution partners through research and market
mapping, and in so doing, establish a sustainable distribution pipeline to gain HNI/UHNI customers for
the firm’s existing CAT-III AIF business.
Building customer relationships & loyalty: Believes and executes the “customer first” philosophy. Meeting
and exceeding internal and external stakeholder expectations while building strong relationships that secure
long term commitment and trust.
Execution Champion: Focus on deliverables without compromising on the quality of output. Proactively,
raises or flags issues as necessary and moves forward with a solutioning approach.
Presentation & Communication Skills: Prepare and deliver high quality presentations to internal and external
stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Draft routine and non-routine business correspondence.
Team: Be a team player—collaborate effectively, communicate openly, and contribute positively to group
goals.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
The Associate, Business Development will be a dynamic professional with about 2-4 years of business
development experience, ideally in AIFs, PMS, wealth management, or related financial services. The
candidate and her/his family must be comfortable and happy to be living and working in Chennai. The

Education
Bachelor’s or higher-level degree.
