Job Description – Mobiliser (CSR Skill Development Project)
Position: Mobiliser
Location: Vapi, Gujarat
Project Type: CSR – Short-Term Skill Development Training
Role Overview:
The Mobiliser will be responsible for identifying, counselling, and mobilizing eligible candidates from the Vapi region for short-term training programs under the CSR initiative. The role requires strong networking with NGOs, community leaders, local government officials, and educational institutions, along with effective communication and marketing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilize candidates for short-term skill development training programs in line with project targets.
- Build and maintain strong networks with NGOs, community-based organizations, local leaders, and government departments to source candidates.
- Conduct community meetings, outreach drives, and awareness campaigns to generate interest in the training programs.
- Counsel candidates and their families on the benefits of skill training and career opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of mobilization activities, candidate database, and reporting as per project requirements.
- Collaborate with the training team to ensure smooth enrollment and batch formation.
- Support in local-level marketing and promotional activities such as pamphlet distribution, events, social media, and word-of-mouth campaigns.
- Ensure timely achievement of mobilization targets as per CSR project timelines.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with NGOs, local government officials, and community stakeholders.
- Good communication, counselling, and persuasion skills.
- Marketing and sales orientation, preferably in education or training sector.
- Ability to work independently and achieve mobilization targets.
- Knowledge of the local geography, culture, and language (Gujarati & Hindi).
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.) for reporting.
- Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum Graduate in any discipline (Education, Social Work, or Marketing preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in mobilization, community outreach, or sales in the education/skill development sector.
- Prior experience in CSR or government skill development projects will be an added advantage.
