We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the packaging industry. The ideal candidate must have strong exposure to ISBM, EBM, and Injection Molding (IM) processes and a CIPET qualification is compulsory. The role involves ensuring product quality, process control, and compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and ensure quality standards for plastic packaging products.
- Perform in-process and final inspections for ISBM, EBM, and IM products.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and update quality documentation, inspection reports, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with production and process teams to improve product quality and reduce rejections.
- Handle customer complaints, analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO / GMP / food-grade packaging standards (as applicable).
- Participate in internal audits and support external audits.
- Monitor raw material quality and finished goods conformity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes.
- Strong knowledge of plastic molding processes:
- Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM)
- Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM)
- Injection Molding (IM)
- Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and testing methods.
- Good understanding of packaging quality standards and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- CIPET (Diploma / Degree) – Mandatory
- Additional certifications in Quality / ISO will be an added advantage.
- 3–4 years of relevant QC experience
- Must be from the packaging industry (plastic packaging preferred).
- Experience in bottles, containers, caps, or closures manufacturing.
- Exposure to food, beverage, pharma, or FMCG packaging.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
