Key Responsibilities
Vendor Visits: Travel to local vendor workshops/units on a daily basis to track production progress and delivery schedules.
Quality Inspection: Perform basic/first-stage QC on fabricated, machined, or sheet metal parts against engineering drawings.
Measurement & Verification: Check dimensions using standard measuring tools (Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Thread Gauges).
Reporting: Send real-time updates, vendor status reports, and rejected material logs to the purchase/production team.
Material Pickup: Coordinate and assist in dispatch or quick pickup of urgent samples and small components.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering (or relevant hands-on technical experience).
Vehicle: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid Driving License.
Experience: 1–3 years in vendor follow-up, mechanical quality inspection, or purchase coordination.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and handle basic measuring instruments.
Skills: Strong communication, time management, and route planning skills.
