We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to support the daily finance and accounting operations of our 3-Star Hotel. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally and WinHMS, along with practical experience in hotel accounting, daily revenue reconciliation, receivables, payables, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Accounts Manager in managing day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in Tally.
- Handle hotel accounting transactions and reports through WinHMS.
- Perform daily sales and revenue reconciliation between WinHMS, POS, cash, card, UPI, and online booking channels.
- Prepare and verify the Daily Revenue Report / Night Audit reports.
- Monitor cash handling, cash deposits, petty cash, and daily collections.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Verify purchase invoices, supplier bills, GRNs, and payment documents.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Front Office, F&B, and other departments for accounts-related matters.
- Maintain vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
- Support preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Assist with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Monitor credit transactions, city ledger, and corporate/OTA receivables.
- Support the Accounts Manager in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and accounting procedures.
Mandatory / Preferred Skills
- Tally knowledge – Mandatory / Strongly Preferred
- WinHMS knowledge – Mandatory / Strongly Preferred
- Experience in Hotel Accounts / Hospitality Finance
- Knowledge of Daily Revenue Reconciliation and Night Audit
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Good communication and coordination skills
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a 3-Star or similar hotel.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
