KEY RESPONSBILITIES
MAJOR DETAILS
Quality Control & Inspection
· Ensure In coming & In - process and final inspections of machined components.
· Lead Product performance & functional testing as per customer requirement
· Deploy trained inspectors for inspection and carry out measurement system analysis.
· Ensure availability of limit samples at respective inspection stages
· Implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.
· Verify and approve reports for incoming, in-process, and pre-dispatch inspection (PDI).
· Monitor daily rejection and rework analysis and take corrective actions.
Root Cause Analysis & CAPA
· Analyses of rejection data on monthly basis using statistical tools
· Carry out root cause analysis and freeze corrective action with production team
· Monitor actions implementation and effectiveness
· Display quality data in production shops
· Discuss with customer for deviation cases and get it approved (if agreed)
Customer Complaint Handling
· Acknowledge customer complaints within 24 hours.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complaints within 7 working days.
· Create awareness to concerned department / people about complaint. Display customer complaint in respective dept.
· Root cause analysis for generation and detection
· Prepare 8D/action plan and submit to customers along with supporting documents.
· Ensure implementation of actions on time and monitor effectiveness.
Lab Management & Calibration of Instruments
· Oversee testing (In-house), compliance with customer specific requirements
· Introducing advanced testing methods for product performance.
· Oversee periodic testing and validation of products.
· Maintain 100% compliance to calibration schedules.
· Ensure instruments used for quality checks are valid
New Product Quality Assurance
· Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new products
· Ensure quality is built into design and manufacturing processes during product development.
· Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing for smooth product launches with agreed rejection norms.
· Ensure on-time gauge procurement for new products.
Quality Management System
· Establish, implement, and sustain QMS in line with ISO- ISO9001 standard, and customer-specific requirements across all units.
· Standardize processes, procedures and documentation to ensure uniformity.
· Conduct internal periodic system audits, share observations, scope for improvements, conduct management reviews and compliance assessments.
· Review audit findings with top management and supervise implementation of corrective action plan for all NCs in specified timelines.
· Conduct periodic review of SOPs, Quality Manuals and Policies.
Supplier & Customer Quality Management
· Coordinate with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality & resolving customer defect.
· Conduct supplier audits and supplier performance evaluations.
· Support customer audits and external quality inspections.
· Facilitate supplier development and communication regarding quality expectations.
· Participates in customer visits and ensure right representation of company from quality perspective
Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction
· Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce rework, minimize defects, and improve overall product quality.
· Identify chronic quality issues and apply structured problem-solving techniques to eliminate root causes.
· Monitor the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives and track measurable gains.
Quality Training & Awareness
· Conduct quarterly training programs for operators and supervisors.
· Promote awareness on quality standards, defect prevention, and customer focus.
Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
