We are looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic Childcare Assistant (Ayya) to support our preschool team. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the school while assisting teachers in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in supervising children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play.
- Childcare support
- Support children with toileting, handwashing, dressing, and other daily routines.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and child-friendly environment.
- Accompany children during arrival, departure, and transportation duties when required.
- Assist during events, celebrations, and special activities.
- Provide comfort and care to children when needed.
Housekeeping Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of classrooms, washrooms, play areas, and common spaces.
- Clean and sanitize toys, learning materials, furniture, and equipment regularly.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and ensure the school premises are neat and organized.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up meal and snack areas.
- Monitor and report cleaning supply requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in childcare, preschool, daycare, housekeeping, or a similar role is preferred.
- Genuine love for working with young children.
- Good personal hygiene and cleanliness practices.
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties.
- Patient, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Working Hours
- Full-Time: 8 hours per day
- Part-Time options may be available
