Additionally, the Sr. Tester is responsible for guiding and training team members, demonstrating tests/calibrations to auditors for accreditation purposes, and focusing on continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key performance indicators include equipment uptime, timely job status updates, on-time and in-full (OTIF) service delivery, customer satisfaction, reducing turnaround times, minimizing non-conformities, and maintaining confidentiality. The role also emphasizes team leadership, with direct management of 1 to 5 staff members, and accountability for direct costs.
The ideal candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, with 1-3 years of experience for B.E/B.Tech holders and 2-5 years for Diploma holders. A strong technical background, effective communication skills, and a supervisory license from an electrical inspector are required. This role significantly impacts team performance, organizational culture, and service excellence.
