We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer specializing in HVAC systems to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning on construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
- Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of various HVAC systems (e.g., chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV, ducting, piping, BMS controls) on site.
- Ensure all HVAC works comply with project specifications, drawings, relevant industry standards, and local regulations.
- Coordinate daily site activities, manpower, and material resources effectively to meet project schedules and milestones.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of HVAC installations, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or defects promptly.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems within the overall project.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive progress reports, daily logs, method statements, and other necessary documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or challenges that arise during the installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate actively in site meetings, client meetings, and technical discussions, providing expert input on HVAC matters.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents related to HVAC systems to ensure accurate execution.
- Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals upon project completion.
- Manage and monitor project budgets related to HVAC components, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
