Senior Secondary Mathematics Teacher – Classes 11 & 12
Job Description :-
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and student-focused Senior Secondary Mathematics Teacher to teach Mathematics to Classes XI and XII. The teacher will be responsible for delivering the prescribed curriculum, developing strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills, preparing students for board examinations, and supporting their overall academic development. This aligns with CBSE expectations around competency-based learning, assessment, inclusive teaching, and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Classes 11 and 12.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, worksheets, and practice papers.
- Teach concepts clearly with emphasis on logical reasoning, conceptual understanding, and problem-solving.
- Follow the prescribed CBSE/State Board curriculum and examination pattern, as applicable.
- Prepare students effectively for Class 11 and Class 12 examinations and board exams.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments, doubt-clearing sessions, and remedial classes.
- Evaluate answer scripts and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Identify individual learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Use smart boards, digital resources, presentations, and other technology-supported teaching methods where appropriate.
- Encourage students to participate in Mathematics activities, competitions, and higher-order problem-solving.
- Communicate students' academic progress with parents and school management.
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in staff meetings, workshops, training, and school activities.
- Maintain lesson plans, teaching records, student assessments, and other academic documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification, as required by the school/board.
- Strong knowledge of senior-secondary Mathematics.
- Prior experience teaching Classes XI–XII is preferred.
- Experience with the CBSE curriculum is an advantage. CBSE states that teacher qualifications must follow applicable NCTE, government, or relevant recruitment rules.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
