eTutorsZone is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Chemistry Tutor to provide personalized online tutoring to students across different academic levels.
The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make complex Chemistry concepts simple, clear, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized 1-on-1 online Chemistry sessions.
- Explain Chemistry concepts and problem-solving strategies clearly.
- Support students with homework, assignments, tests, and exam preparation.
- Develop lesson plans based on each student's academic level, curriculum, and learning goals.
- Identify learning gaps and provide targeted academic support.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain brief lesson and progress notes.
- Use online teaching tools effectively to create an interactive learning experience.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and encouraging learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with the eTutorsZone support team regarding student progress and scheduling.
Subjects / Areas
Candidates should be comfortable teaching relevant areas of:
- General Chemistry
- Organic Chemistry
- Physical Chemistry
- Chemistry problem-solving and exam preparation
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of Chemistry tutoring or teaching experience required.
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and problem-solving.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and explain them effectively.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable teaching students online using platforms such as Google Meet or Zoom.
- Reliable high-speed internet, computer, webcam, microphone, and digital writing tools.
- Must be comfortable working during U.S. shift/evening hours.
- Previous experience teaching U.S. students is a plus.
