ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with students who require counseling at the campus and provide them with appropriate help
- Conduct a meeting with Parents- take Interview, case history, assessment and review the child’s current level of functioning (emotional).
- Review and decide on next stage based on the counselors observation and parent/ student intake
- Make a case formulation and counseling plan and conduct timely counseling sessions.
- Help appoint a Shadow Teacher for the child, if required.
- Regular classroom observation.
- Meet regularly with the teacher, coordinator and parent to discuss the progress of the child and also to suggest strategies to be followed in class and at home.
- Prepare guidelines and follow up regularly with the special educator and shadow teacher.
- Discuss the intervention and progress of each child at the center.
- Review the progress of therapy on a regular basis to confirm the efficiency of the intervention.
- Attend meetings regarding children under counseling with (i.e. Parent, special educator and counselor meeting.)
- Attending Parent teacher meeting (i.e. PTM).
- Be a part of the admission process (i.e. refer to inclusion policy.)
- Encourage and appoint peer Counselors and study buddies.
- Conduct workshops and group sessions for students, teachers, counselors, parents and shadow teachers.
- Conduct / Monitor the Morning activity for children.
- Maintaining documents with efficiency and regularity
- Be a team worker.
- Work on self-development and update knowledge in the field on a regular basis to improve performance.
- Follow the code of conduct of the department and maintain Confidentiality at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
