Houseman – Job Description
A Houseman supports the housekeeping department in maintaining cleanliness and assisting in hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms
- Assist room attendants with cleaning supplies and linen distribution
- Handle heavy cleaning tasks like carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, and furniture movement
- Collect and dispose of garbage properly
- Refill supplies in housekeeping carts and storage areas
- Report maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Follow safety and hygiene standards
Skills Required:
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures
- Teamwork and discipline
- Attention to cleanliness and detail
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
