Role Overview
NDU seeks to appoint a qualified and motivated Japanese Language Trainer to deliver high-quality Japanese language instruction to students of NDU Bangalore Campus. The trainer will support language proficiency development aligned with academic, professional, and international collaboration needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Japanese language classes (Beginner to Intermediate/Advanced levels) as per the curriculum prescribed by NDU.
2. Develop and deliver lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
3. Focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with emphasis on real-world/professional communication.
4. Prepare students for Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) levels (N5–N3) as applicable or mandated by the respective company.
5. Conduct evaluations, tests, and continuous assessments and submit academic reports.
6. Support students in understanding Japanese culture, etiquette, and professional communication.
7. Coordinate with academic departments for industry-oriented or study-abroad language requirements.
Eligibility & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Japanese Language / Japanese Studies / Linguistics or a related field.
· JLPT N2 certification is mandatory.
· Prior university teaching or training experience in Japanese language (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
· Strong command of English (and/or regional language) for effective instruction.
Pay: Up to ₹1,400,000.00 per year
