We are looking for a creative, social media-savvy intern who is ready to take on true ownership of building a brand's digital presence. If you live on TikTok and Instagram, know how to edit high-retention video content, and want to learn the ins and outs of the early-stage investing and the startup ecosystem while networking with people in both, this is for you.
We don't expect you to have a ton of experience, we just want someone who is excited to learn, loves coming up with and executing creative ideas, and wants to develop an authentic, sophisticated brand voice.
This role is completely non-restrictive. If you want to help us out with other areas of the business and take on more responsibility, we are more than happy to give you the space to make that happen!
What You’ll Do:
- Video Editing & Content Creation: Edit engaging short-form video content, focusing on clean cuts, and high-retention formats for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Graphic Design: Create visually compelling templates, slide carousels, and social assets using Canva.
- Trend & Hook Scouting: Stay ahead of social media trends, write punchy, scroll-stopping hooks, and pitch creative content ideas weekly.
- Digital Presence: Help update, and maintain our website, ensuring it matches our brand's aesthetic.
- Research: Conduct research on startups, startup investing, partnership opportunities, etc.
Who You Are:
- A Quick Learner: You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you are resourceful and figure things out.
- Aesthetic-Driven: You have a sharp eye for visual storytelling, typography, and clean layouts.
- Culturally Aware: You understand the nuances of what makes a video go viral versus what makes an audience trust a brand.
- An Owner: You thrive when given freedom and take pride in seeing a project through from idea to post.
